Cutting Techniques

Designed for straight-line cutting of concrete, asphalt, stone.

  1. Position: Stand firmly, hold saw with both hands, thumbs wrapped around handles.
  2. Start cut: Allow wheel to reach full speed before contacting material.
  3. Apply light pressure: Let the wheel do the work; do not force.
  4. Keep cut straight: Use guide marks if necessary.
  5. For deep cuts: Make multiple passes, increasing depth gradually.
  6. Wet cutting: Use water attachment to reduce dust and prolong wheel life.
  7. After cut: Allow wheel to stop completely before setting saw down.

WARNING! Never cut with the upper part of the wheel. Always use lower quadrant (between 9 and 3 o'clock positions).

Maintenance Schedule

Daily: Clean air filter, check wheel for damage, inspect guard. Weekly: Clean spark arrestor screen, check all bolts/nuts for tightness. Monthly: Clean fuel filter, check spark plug, grease cutting head bearing.

Storage

For storage over 30 days: Drain fuel tank and run engine until it stops. Remove spark plug, add 1 tsp of engine oil through spark plug hole, pull starter rope slowly 2-3 times, reinstall plug. Store in clean, dry place.
