Assembly & Preparation

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assemble on a clean, flat surface.

First-Time Operation

  3. Press and hold the trigger lockout, then squeeze the trigger to start.
  4. Practice basic swinging technique in a clear area.

Cutting Techniques

  1. Hold trimmer at a slight angle so the tip of the line does the cutting.
  2. Use a smooth, sweeping motion from side to side.
  3. Keep cutting head parallel to ground and just above grass level.
  4. To advance line: Tap cutting head lightly on ground while motor is running at high speed.
  5. Avoid cutting against hard surfaces (walls, fences) to prevent rapid line wear.
  6. For edging, tilt trimmer so line is vertical.

WARNING! Never operate without guard. Do not use for cutting woody plants or dense vegetation.
