Safety Instructions

Read and understand all instructions before operation. Always wear appropriate PPE.

  1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, long pants, sturdy gloves, and non-slip boots.
  2. Operating Area: Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, at least 15 meters away. Be aware of dust, debris, and loose objects that may become airborne.
  3. Fuel Safety: Refuel outdoors only, with engine stopped and cool. Use clean, fresh fuel mix. Wipe up spills immediately. Do not smoke near fuel.
  4. Operation: Never point the blower tube at people, animals, or windows. Do not operate in wet conditions or near flammable materials.
  5. Maintenance: Always stop the engine and allow it to cool before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

WARNING! Failure to follow safety instructions can result in serious injury or death. The exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide, a poisonous gas. Operate only in well-ventilated areas.

Assembly & Preparation

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Assemble on a clean, flat surface.

  1. Attach Harness: Connect the backpack frame to the blower unit as per diagram. Adjust shoulder straps and waist belt for a snug, comfortable fit.
  2. Assemble Tube & Nozzle: Connect the blower tube to the engine outlet, ensuring it clicks securely into place. Attach the desired nozzle.
  3. Fuel Mix Preparation: Use a high-quality 2-stroke engine oil meeting ISO-L-EGD or JASO FD standards. Mix with unleaded gasoline (min. 89 octane) at a 50:1 ratio (2% oil). Use a clean, approved fuel container. Shake gently before refueling.
  4. Initial Start-up: Place unit on a firm, level surface. Press the primer bulb 5-10 times until fuel is visible. Set the choke to cold start position. Pull the starter rope briskly until the engine fires, then move the choke to run position and restart.

CAUTION! Do not force parts during assembly. Ensure all connections are secure before operation.

Technical Specifications

Controls and Operation

Familiarize yourself with all controls before starting the engine.

Main Controls: - Throttle Trigger: Variable speed control. Squeeze to increase engine speed. - Throttle Trigger Lock: Engages to hold a constant speed without continuous finger pressure. - Master Control Lever (MCL): Combines choke, run, and stop positions. - Air Volume Control Slider: Located on the tube. Adjusts the volume of air output. - Decompression Valve: Button to press before starting to reduce pulling resistance.

Starting Procedure (Cold Engine): 1. Press the decompression valve. 2. Move Master Control Lever to choke position (full left). 3. Press primer bulb 5-10 times. 4. Place unit firmly on ground. Hold the blower tube with one hand and pull starter rope briskly with the other until engine fires. 5. Immediately move Master Control Lever to run position (middle). 6. Pull starter rope again to start engine. Allow to warm up at idle for 30 seconds.

Starting Procedure (Warm Engine): Omit steps 2 and 5. Start with MCL in run position.

Fuel & Lubrication

Using the correct fuel mix is critical for engine performance and longevity.

  1. Fuel Mix: Always use 50:1 mix of unleaded gasoline (min. 89 octane, ethanol content max 10%) and high-quality 2-stroke oil. Never use straight gasoline or motor oil.
  2. Refueling: Stop engine and allow to cool. Clean area around fuel cap. Use a funnel to avoid spills. Do not overfill. Tighten cap securely.
  3. Gearbox Lubrication: The blower fan gearbox is filled with grease at the factory and requires no routine lubrication under normal use.
  4. Air Filter: Check before each use. Clean with compressed air or soapy water as needed. Replace if damaged.

WARNING! Fuel is highly flammable. Store fuel in an approved container away from heat and sparks. Use fuel within 30 days.

Maintenance Schedule

IntervalTask
Before each useCheck for loose parts, damage. Clean air filter. Check fuel level.
Every 25 hoursClean spark arrestor screen (if equipped). Check spark plug condition and gap (0.5 mm / 0.020 in).
Every 50 hoursReplace fuel filter in tank. Clean cooling fins. Check all nuts and bolts for tightness.
Every 100 hoursReplace spark plug. Clean carburetor air intake. Have dealer check ignition timing and compression.
As neededReplace worn or damaged tubes, nozzles, or harness components.

CAUTION! Disconnect the spark plug boot before performing any maintenance involving the engine or fan area.

Storage

Proper storage prevents fuel system issues and corrosion.

  1. Short-term (less than 30 days): Store in a dry, clean place. No special preparation needed.
  2. Long-term (more than 30 days): a. Run the engine until the fuel tank is empty. b. Start the engine again and let it run until it stops from lack of fuel. This drains the carburetor. c. Allow engine to cool. Remove spark plug and pour one teaspoon of 2-stroke oil into the cylinder. Pull starter rope slowly 2-3 times to coat internal parts. Reinstall spark plug. d. Clean entire unit thoroughly. Store in a dry, covered location.

Tip: Always use fresh fuel mix at the start of a new season.
