Safety Information

Read all instructions before operation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

  1. Always wear eye protection, hearing protection, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and gloves.
  2. Operate only in well-ventilated areas; gasoline engines produce carbon monoxide.
  3. Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, at least 15 meters (50 feet) away.
  4. Never point the nozzle at people, animals, or windows.
  5. Inspect unit before each use for loose parts or damage.

WARNING! Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel outdoors with engine off and cool. Do not smoke near fuel.

Assembly & First Use

Unpack and inspect contents. Assemble handle and nozzle if required.

  1. Attach handle: Align with mounting points and secure with provided screws.
  2. Attach nozzle: Slide onto blower outlet until it clicks into place.
  3. Fuel mixture: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (min. 89 octane) mixed with STIHL 2-stroke oil at 50:1 ratio. Do not use automotive oil or fuel older than 30 days.
  4. Starting procedure: Place on flat ground. Set master control lever to cold start position (choke on). Pull starter rope briskly until engine fires. Move lever to warm start position and pull again to start.

CAUTION! Ensure all fasteners are tight before operation. Run engine at idle for 1-2 minutes before applying load.

Controls and Operation

Master Control Lever: Choke positions (cold start, warm start, run). Throttle Trigger: Variable speed control. Throttle Lock: Cruise control for continuous operation. Stop Switch: Emergency engine stop.

Operating Procedure: Start engine as described. Allow warm-up. Squeeze throttle trigger to increase speed. Engage throttle lock if needed for extended blowing. Release trigger and lock to return to idle. Press stop switch to shut off engine.

Blowing Technique: Hold blower at comfortable angle. Use sweeping motions to gather debris into piles. Work with wind direction when possible for efficiency.

Fuel & Lubrication

Use only STIHL 50:1 2-cycle engine oil or equivalent ISO-L-EGD certified oil.

  1. Mix fuel in clean, approved container: Add oil to gasoline, then shake thoroughly.
