Safety Information

Read all instructions before operation. Wear appropriate PPE.

  1. Always wear eye and hearing protection during use.
  2. Operate in well-ventilated areas only; exhaust contains carbon monoxide.
  3. Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, at a safe distance.
  4. Inspect blower before each use for damage or loose parts.
  5. Never point the blower nozzle at people, animals, or fragile objects.

WARNING! Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel only with engine off and cool, outdoors, away from ignition sources.

Assembly & First Use

Unpack and inspect all components. Assembly required for handle and nozzle.

  1. Attach handle: Align handle with mounting points, secure with provided bolts.
  2. Install blower tube: Push tube onto engine housing until it clicks securely.
  3. Attach nozzle: Slide nozzle onto end of blower tube, tighten locking collar.
  4. Fuel mix: Use STIHL 2-stroke engine oil mixed with unleaded gasoline (50:1 ratio).
  5. Starting procedure: Set master control lever to cold start position, pull starter cord until engine fires, then move lever to run position.

CAUTION! Ensure all fasteners are tight before operation. Do not force components during assembly.

Specifications

Controls and Operation

Master Control Lever: Controls choke (cold start), run, and stop positions. Throttle Trigger: Variable speed control. Throttle Lock: Lock for continuous operation. Stop Switch: Emergency engine stop.

Operation Steps:

  1. Check fuel level and air filter condition.
  2. Place blower on flat ground, hold securely.
  3. Set master control to cold start (choke) position.
  4. Pull starter cord briskly until engine fires (1-3 pulls).
  5. Immediately move master control to run position.
  6. Allow 30-second warm-up at idle before applying throttle.
  7. Use throttle trigger for variable airspeed; engage throttle lock for extended use.
  8. To stop: Release throttle, let engine idle for 30 seconds, move master control to stop position.

Fuel & Lubrication

Use only unleaded gasoline with minimum 89 octane (RON) mixed with STIHL 2-stroke engine oil at 50:1 ratio.

  1. Mix fuel in approved container: Add oil to gasoline, close container, shake thoroughly.
  2. Refueling: Clean area around fuel cap, open slowly, fill to 80% capacity to allow for expansion.
  3. Lubrication: Gearbox is factory-filled; no user lubrication required under normal use.

WARNING! Never use straight gasoline or automotive motor oil. Do not mix fuel in blower's tank.

Maintenance Procedures

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Clean air filter (tap out debris or wash with soapy water if foam type).
  2. Weekly: Check spark plug condition and gap (0.5 mm), clean cooling fins.
  3. Monthly: Inspect fuel lines for cracks, check all fasteners for tightness.
  4. Seasonally: Replace spark plug, clean carburetor (or have serviced by dealer).
  5. Exhaust System: Regularly clean spark arrestor screen (if equipped).

CAUTION! Disconnect spark plug wire before performing any maintenance. Allow engine to cool completely.

Storage Guidelines

Proper storage prevents fuel system issues and corrosion.

  1. Short-term (under 30 days): Add fuel stabilizer to fuel tank, run engine for 2 minutes to circulate treated fuel through system.
  2. Long-term (over 30 days): Drain fuel tank completely, run engine until it stops from fuel starvation. Remove spark plug, add 1 teaspoon of engine oil through spark plug hole, pull starter cord slowly 2-3 times to coat cylinder, reinstall plug.
  3. Store in clean, dry place, protected from dust and moisture. Cover with breathable cloth.

Tip: Store blower upright to prevent oil leakage.
